We abide by the Distance Selling Regulations.
 
Payment: Payment is by Paypal only.
 
Returns policy: Returns must be notified within seven days of receipt via email to kirsty@ladybirdbeads.co.uk or by letter to the address on your Paypal notification. Return postage is at the buyer's own expense. A full refund of the original payment will be made via Paypal upon receipt of the faulty item. Further information can be found in the Terms and Conditions document above. Custom items may not be returned unless proven to be faulty on receipt.
 
Stock levels: As these items are all handmade by me, there will occasionally be times when something is out of stock. This means waiting for beads from the suppliers and then making the item. If this is the case then I will always contact the buyer with an estimated dispatch date and the option to cancel the order.
 
Suitability for use: These items are not designed for children (except where stated) and no responsibility will be accepted for items which don't stand up to use by children. Children's jewellery should always be put on/removed by adults. Please note that beads are small and findings are often smaller and therefore constitute a choking hazard.
 
Food-style jewellery: These items are not edible and are sold solely as completed pieces of jewellery. They are not designed for children's wear and should be kept out of their reach.
 
Postage: I use signed for (recorded) delivery as standard in UK, Eire and CI. For international orders I can use recorded delivery if requested. Please contact me for an amended invoice before paying. Postage charges are set according to the quantity ordered but I will always use the best service available through Royal Mail.
 
Customs charges: The buyer is always responsible for any & all customs charges relating to their country.
 
Proof of postage: I always use signed-for (recorded) delivery within the UK, Channel Islands & Eire and obtain proof of postage for all other parcels. On rare occasions parcels go missing - if this happens, please contact me so that it can be tracked.For overseas purchasers I can send via International Recorded Delivery if requested which will be charged at cost (approx. £8 for USA).  
 
Silver & gold:where these terms are used, they refer to plate metals/colour unless otherwise stated. Tibetan silver is an alloy of several metals which may only contain a trace of silver - I use it because it's pretty, affordable and develops a lovely shine the more you wear it. Nickel & lead information: All the findings I use are sold (to me) as nickel & lead free in accordance with EU guidelines.
 
Green policy: I will often recycle padded envelopes & bubble wrap so if your parcel arrives in a not-so-new envelope, don't worry - it's still gorgeous on the inside!
